District 31 Toastmasters is comprised of Clubs in Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island and has been serving members since 1950, enhancing communication and leadership skills. Toastmasters international is the world’s leading non-profit educational organization dedicated to the improvement of speaking, listening and thinking skills.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER: Sheryl Roush
Getting her start in Toastmasters in 1987, she has given well over 3,500 presentations in 13 countries, and has presented virtually since 2010. She is a Certified Virtual Presenter, and Speak And Market Like A Pro Coach catapulting others to achieve their dreams. The National Speakers Association honored Sheryl with “Member of the Year” in both San Diego and Los Angeles Chapters, plus the Golden Microphone Award. In Toastmasters, she earned the elite Accredited Speaker designation when it was judged in six categories of presenting. There have been only 90 honorees in 146 countries since 1981, and Sheryl was the youngest woman to earn the credential in 1993. A 17-time published author, the Heart of a Toastmaster book received “Best Anthology” from the International Book Awards and global recognition for 135 fellow members!
