Tradition? Patriotism? Commitment! Pride!

A lone Tomb Sentinel, 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), walks his tour in humble reverence during Hurricane Irene in Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia, August 27, 2001.

Members of The Old Guard have guarded the Tomb every second, of every day regardless of weather – or holidays – since April 6, 1948.

As you ponder this photo, ask yourself:
What are YOU committed to – to the very core of YOUR being?
Would YOU watch guard over it – regardless of Weather? Persecution? Intolerance?
What do you “STAND” for? And how is it expressed in your daily life?
What are you BELIEFS?
Aere you willing to SPEAK about them?!
